KBS presents an intriguing sneak peek of its upcoming drama “Suji and Uri” (also known as “A Profitable Cage”) with the release of a group poster, offering a snapshot of the eclectic ensemble cast.
“Suji and Uri” follows the narrative of a fallen star doctor, portrayed by T-ara’s Ham Eun Jung, and a rookie doctor, played by Baek Sung Hyun, as they observe life and love while forging an unorthodox family dynamic.
The newly aired poster showcases the intertwining families of the two protagonists, standing united amidst a bustling group setting, symbolizing the chaotic yet endearing bonds that connect them.
Ham Eun Jung’s character, celebrity psychiatrist Jin Suji, is depicted alongside her family members: Jin Na Young, Jin Jang Soo, Jang Yoon Ja, Park Bok Sun, and Jin Do Young, portrayed by Kang Byul, Yoon Da Hoon, Jo Mi Ryung, Seo Kwon Soon, and Kim Jong Hoon, respectively.
Meanwhile, Baek Sung Hyun’s character, rookie doctor Chae Uri, shares the frame with his mother Chae Sun Young and the staff of her restaurant: Kang Woo Chang, Kang Jung Soon, Chae Doo Ri, and Jo Ara, played by Oh Hyun Kyung, Lim Ho, Lee Sang Sook, Song Ye Bin, and Yoon Chae Na, respectively.
Completing the ensemble are the family members of Han Hyun Sung, portrayed by Shin Jung Yoon, including Han Jin Tae and Kim Ma Ri, played by Sunwoo Jae Duk and Kim Hee Jung, respectively.
The drama’s production team emphasizes the theme of familial love transcending blood ties, as the characters in “Suji and Uri” form a cohesive unit bound by genuine affection.
