The long-standing feud between LA Knight and AJ Styles has been simmering since November 2023, reaching a boiling point with each passing week. Their animosity has escalated to a point where they’re willing to tear each other apart, both inside and outside the ring.
The tension between the two rivals reached new heights on WWE SmackDown last week, as AJ Styles delivered a brutal steel chair attack on LA Knight, solidifying their WrestleMania match.
The confirmation of their showdown came after Knight and Styles engaged in a fiery promo exchange, laying bare their raw emotions and promises of vengeance.
Following the blindside assault by Styles, LA Knight wasted no time in retaliating, cutting a scathing video promo against his adversary. In his impassioned message, Knight warned Styles that the next time they cross paths, he would unleash holy hell upon him, vowing to splatter him into the ground like a bug.
“AJ, understand what you just did. Elimination Chamber is one thing… At WrestleMania, you’ll get the holy hell beaten out of you. But you gotta understand, it’s a bit too far away from me… On sight my guy, next time I see you, believe me, if I didn’t have eyes in the back of my head, best believe, I have every single one of them.”
“Everywhere you might be, I’ll be looking for you. I’ll tell you like this man, the second I see you, you will get splattered into the ground, like the bug that you are. Guess what, if you make it to WrestleMania, if you don’t make it to WrestleMania, I’ll have my own moment by myself, if I have to.
But you gotta understand you will pay and pay you will. See you soon.” In response, AJ Styles took to social media platform X to issue a defiant reply, asserting that he would not be making any appearances on SmackDown until WrestleMania 40, acutely aware of the physical harm awaiting him.
“So let me get this straight, LA Knight, the next time you see me, you’re gonna physically harm me. Well, I’m not gonna let that happen. I’m not gonna let that happen. I’m not that stupid. I won’t be at SmackDown, so you can keep looking. But I’ll be at WrestleMania. I’ll see you there.”
With tensions at an all-time high and WrestleMania looming on the horizon, the stage is set for an explosive showdown between AJ Styles and LA Knight, promising an unforgettable clash between two fierce competitors.
