“Wonderful World” unfolds as an emotional thriller with Kim Nam Joo portraying Eun Soo Hyun, a woman driven by vengeance following the heartbreaking loss of her son. Faced with the perpetrator’s evasion of legal consequences, she embarks on a quest for personal justice.
Cha Eun Woo takes on the role of Kwon Sun Yool, a once-aspiring medical student whose life takes a tumultuous turn after enduring a profound family tragedy.

At the conclusion of the inaugural episode of “Wonderful World,” Eun Soo Hyun stunned viewers with her bold choice to collide with Kwon Ji Woong (portrayed by Oh Man Seok), the perpetrator responsible for her son’s demise.
In recently revealed images from the series’ forthcoming second installment, Eun Soo Hyun undergoes a poignant rendezvous with Kwon Sun Yool amidst the cemetery.
Discovering her in tears by her son’s resting place, Kwon Sun Yool extends his umbrella to shield her from the downpour, leaving the mourning mother visibly taken aback.
Another snapshot captures Kwon Sun Yool deep in contemplation, seated solitarily beside a grave, a half-consumed bottle of alcohol by his side.
“Amidst another whirlwind of plot, Cha Eun Woo will make his first real appearance [in the drama] starting with Episode 2,” said the drama’s production team.
