Parker McCollum, 31, and his wife Hallie Ray Light are expecting their first child, as announced in a joint Instagram post. In the shared photo, the couple embraces by the ocean, with McCollum tenderly kissing his pregnant wife’s belly.
“God’s little blessing. We Love you so much already, Baby M!” they wrote in their caption.
The couple exchanged vows in Tomball, Texas, in March of 2022, following their engagement the previous summer. McCollum disclosed that they had briefly split “for some goofy reason” at the close of 2020. However, during his Grand Ole Opry debut in February 2021, he realized life wasn’t complete without Light, leading to their reconciliation.
Following their engagement announcement, Light excitedly shared on Instagram that she had found her perfect wedding dress. “Can’t wait for @parkermccollum to see it on the big day” she wrote in the caption.
After their engagement in 2021, the “Pretty Heart” musician spoke about the significant moment.
“I couldn’t wait to ask her to marry me,” McCollum recalled of proposing to Light. “There was no backup plan and no hesitation. I didn’t overthink one thing. I was like, ‘It can’t get any better than her.’ There was no doubt in my mind that I was making the right decision. She saved my life in a way. I don’t think I was headed down the right road.”
Shortly after their wedding, the “To Be Loved by You” singer showcased the newlyweds’ rings on his Instagram Story, introducing “The McCollums.” Light also shared a photo of the couple kissing in the aisle at Boxwood Manor.
