On Thursday, February 8, the sci-fi action series Halo returns, and Master Chief is prepared to don his helmet once more. The story of Halo, a space-faring futuristic adaption of the popular video game series, centers on the conflict between humanity and the Covenant, an extraterrestrial coalition that appears determined to exterminate all humankind.
We pay close attention to Master Chief and his group of Spartans, super-soldiers who defend humanity on the front lines of the United Nations Space Command.
In the second season, the Master Chief must stop the Covenant before they assault Earth. In Halo season 2, which returns this year for more action, the Paramount Plus video game adaptation takes on the Covenant.
Halo 2 looks to be a more ambitious game than the first, based on what we’ve seen so far. In Halo season 1, Cortana allowed the Silver Team to escape the planet by giving herself control of Master Chief’s body during the battle on High Charity, showcasing Spartan-117’s fighting abilities.
With season 2 gearing up to deliver its take on Reach’s demise, the UNSC will need its soldiers to be at the peak of their abilities. The most recent trailers and more can be seen below in our guide to Halo season 2.
How To Watch Halo Season 2?
You can use this to view the second season of Halo because it is an original production by Paramount for its streaming service, Paramount Plus.
Both of the streamer tiers—the $5.99 monthly Essential tier and the $11.99 monthly Showtime tier—will let you watch Halo.
On Thursday, February 8, the first two episodes of Halo season 2 will premiere on streaming services. From that point on, new episodes will be released every week. The last day to submit is Thursday, March 21.
For new users, Paramount Plus by default provides a free seven-day trial so you may try the service and decide if it’s right for you. You can also use the Prime Video Channel to receive an additional 7-day trial if you are a Prime member.
To fit in with its Super Bowl 2024 broadcast, Paramount Plus is offering an extended free trial to US residents for a limited period. You can register for a longer testing period if you use the code “SUPERBOWL” at checkout. All of the episodes from the first season of Halo are also available on Paramount Plus, so it’s not too difficult to catch up on them.
The first episode has been aired on broadcast networks in the US and the UK on occasion. Paramount has also published the episode on YouTube in the US and Channel 5 in the UK. However, as of this writing, there are no plans to re-air the previous episodes before the new ones.
