A brand-new drama series centred around crime and thrillers will take over Monday night’s NBC prime time slot. This quirky behavioural sciences expert who becomes a consultant for a criminal investigation team is the focus of this Arika Lisanne Mittman-created investigative crime series starring Jesse L. Martin.
Alec Baker is the primary character of The Irrational. He is a well-known professor of behavioural psychology with an unusual viewpoint on human nature. He provides knowledge on various important topics concerning businesses, governments, and law enforcement. His entire life is turned upside down when he finds out that a female suspect in domestic terror is on par with him.
Professor of behavioural science Alec Mercer is brought in to look into the confession of the boyfriend of a fashion influencer, who happens to be a decorated soldier and senator’s son. According to Mercer, there’s more to the tale than first meets the eye.
This is the complete storyline of the show, which is similar to many other television shows where a strange person with bad social skills solves a crime, such as Tim Roth’s Lie to Me and Bones. Therefore, feel free to decide if this is the show you’ve been waiting for.
Preview
We know there is a ton of preparation needed as we get ready to see The Irrational season 1 episode 10 on NBC next week! There are only two episodes remaining, so it seems certain that Alec’s trip will take some unexpected turns toward the middle. That is, at least, our current perception of the situation.
Regretfully, the show’s executives did very little to set the scene for tonight’s new episode. All we had to go on was the title “Bombshell,” as they did not provide a synopsis. You could draw several conclusions from this alone.
This episode’s central case, which has to do with a reformed criminal getting back out on the streets, seems to be quite straightforward. What actions will they take? We’ll have to wait and see exactly what happens, but it seems obvious that they might put a lot of people at serious risk.
