On Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, following the conclusion of the reunion’s third part, Andy Cohen verified that Monica is indeed taking a “break” from RHOSLC.
Monica Garcia is relinquishing her snowflake after a single season on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
On Tuesday, January 23, reports surfaced, confirming Garcia’s non-return to the Bravo show. This revelation followed the disclosure that she was associated with the Reality Von Tease Instagram account, which aimed at Jen Shah and other cast members. Notably, Jen Shah is presently serving a prison sentence for fraud. The announcement coincided with Garcia’s impending final appearance on the RHOSLC Season 4 reunion’s third part.
Earlier this month, Andy Cohen, in an exclusive statement, conveyed that it was “too early to speculate” on Garcia’s potential return to the show.
The Bravo boss, 55, highlighted the reunions as a platform for individuals to express themselves and reconcile with ostracized castmates. Teasing the RHOSLC reunion, he emphasized the importance of post-reunion discussions to gauge perspectives from both fans and cast members.
Garcia joined the RHOSLC cast for Season 4, starting in September 2023. The unassuming member gained attention during the January 2 finale when revealed as one of the minds behind the Reality Von Tease Instagram account. Promptly admitting her involvement, Garcia’s connection was affirmed by Tenesha Luckett, hairstylist to Gay and former friend to Garcia.
During the finale, Gay passionately confronted Garcia, asserting, “I have your perfect formula: receipts, proof, timeline, screenshots, everything to prove that you are a bully and a troll. You do not deserve to be at this table or near any of us for the way you’ve treated us! Every single one of us has woken up in fear for the things that you posted!”
In her confessional, Garcia clarified that the Instagram account was “never just one person.” She acknowledged the involvement of several others but emphasized the mission to target Jen. Garcia described the other women as “collateral damage.”
Concluding the episode, Garcia foresaw the revelation of this information, stating, “Even Gossip Girl couldn’t stay Gossip Girl forever.”
Viewers can catch Part 3 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion on Bravo, airing Tuesday, January 23, at 8 PM ET.
