According to the highly reliable dataminer billbil-kun, a revised edition of the 2015 PS4 horror game Until Dawn is expected to be announced within the next 15 days. The dataminer suggests that the title has been in development for at least a year, but there is no confirmation about whether the original developer, Supermassive Games, is handling the project.
Until Dawn is an interactive horror game featuring eight friends fighting for survival in an isolated mountain lodge where two of their group disappeared a year earlier. Starring Rami Malek and Hayden Panettiere, the game incorporates a branching narrative where the player’s choices impact the fate of the characters, who can either live or die.
Recently, a film adaptation of Until Dawn was announced, directed by David F. Sandberg, known for films like Annabelle: Creation, Shazam!, and Lights Out.
In addition to the Until Dawn news, billbil-kun has also seemingly leaked the full title of the Death Stranding sequel. According to the dataminer, the PS5 game is named Death Stranding 2 – On The Beach, with a new reveal for the title expected soon.
These revelations have led to increased speculation that Sony might be planning a new State of Play presentation in the coming weeks to showcase upcoming PlayStation games.
