Jelena, who has been with Djokovic since 2005, declared recently that she would not be attending the World No. 1’s historical match in Melbourne. She first inquired whether any of her fans were presently attending the competition on social media, and then she gave the update during a fan interaction.
She was asked if she was going to attend the game, to which she replied nope, indicating she has other commitments.
Jelena has previously opted not to attend the Australian Open. She often goes to the US Open, Wimbledon Championships, and French Open. But for the previous several years, Novak Djokovic has performed in Melbourne without Jelena.
