From a black-market buyer to a police officer, the treasure starts to cause more trouble than benefit for Ashley, Martin, and their family members.

Filming Locations:
Major filming for Channel 5’s Finders Keepers takes place in Somerset, United Kingdom. The mini-series starring James Buckley was originally going to be called “The Hoard” and was filmed under this name. However, right before Finders Keepers premiered the name was changed to a more interesting title.
Ashley is Martin’s wheeler dealer and were soon going to become relatives after Martin’s daughter marries Ashley.
The duo decides to head over to a rural area, as Martin loves being a detectorist and wants to continue his search in the local area. Parts of the Somerset Countryside were used to film the scenes of the remote area where Ashley and Martin find the Saxon treasure.
The Glastonbury Tor is the only remaining structure left of the 15th-century St. Michael churches. This tall tower offers a picturesque view of the nearby landmarks, while also showing parts of Dorset, Wales, and Wiltshire. The way the Glastonbury Tor stands makes it look magnificent, but the story and myth behind the area are much more fun.
It’s believed that the Glastonbury Tor is situated atop a mysterious cave that hosts a portal to the fairy realm of Annwn. While this Celtic legend is yet to be confirmed, it adds a touch of magic to the already stunning area.
The Channel 5 mini-series also often shows the streets of Glastonbury and its bustling marketplace. The village where Martin goes to was shot at Aldbury, Hertfordshire. Lying near Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire, this village is known for being the main filming location for hit shows like Midsomer Murders, The Royals, and the film, The Dirty Dozen.
Some of the shops near Westbourne Grove also made it into the scenes of Finders Keepers. This area is filled with all kinds of antique shops and restaurants that offer the perfect spot for filming a show like Finders Keepers. While it isn’t used much as a filming spot these days, films from the 60s and 50s like Walk a Tightrope and Radio Cab Murder were filmed here.
The beautifully placed canal that we see in Finders Keepers is located at Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. The Grand Union Canal joins London and Birmingham, with passing through all kinds of scenic countryside and remote villages. While Somerset does have its waterfronts and canals, the Finders Keepers crew decided to use another place to film those scenes.
Finders Keepers features a fun wedding scene which was filmed at Stoke Court, Buckinghamshire. This place is a popular filming location and lies very close to the famous Pinewood Studios. The manor was built back in the 19th century and is still used as a filming location for countless films.
Stoke Court’s history goes back to the 15th century, with it being built in a semi-remote area near Taunton. The movie Murder On The Blackpool Express was shot near this location.
This sums up all the filming locations for Finders Keepers, now available to stream on Channel 5’s My5.
