The host of the show The Bachelor and the former professional football player, Jesse Palmer, have welcomed their first child with his wife, Emely Fardo. The couple announced the news through Instagram, sharing an adorable picture of the family.
The picture was captioned, “Our worlds have been forever changed.” The couple shared their happiness about embracing parenthood and revealed the name of their beautiful daughter as Ella Reine Palmer. They also showed their gratitude and love to all their fans and friends for showering them with blessings.
In the picture, Jesse Palmer, the new father, is seen smiling at the camera, while Ella Reine is held by Fardo, with the newborn resting her head on her mother. Numerous stars from Bachelor Nation, both past and present, extended their congratulations in the comments section.
Other well-wishes came from Rachel Recchia, Clayton Echard, Charity Lawson, and many more who shared their excitement about the news.
In August, the couple revealed to their Instagram family that they were expecting their first child together. After that, Jesse mentioned his happiness and excitement over becoming a father. For the retired NFL star, fatherhood is going to be the play of a lifetime.
He said in an interaction that
Emely and him are just absolutely over the moon. He is nervous because he has two brothers and four nephews. They have never had a girl in the Palmer family up until this point.
He shared that he cannot wait to love his daughter and hold his bundle of joy in his hands. He also said that he would learn from his mistakes.
Emely Fardo on Motherhood
In an interview, Jess mentioned that Emely has always wanted a daughter, and she is so maternal by nature. He confirmed that she will be the best mom to her children. The model was really excited to meet her little one. She said that she is so thrilled to share her life with her daughter, take her on fun adventures, and share with her the lessons this life has taught them.
When asked about how she was feeling during her pregnancy, she replied that she was feeling really good up to this point. She shared that she was working out daily and that her appetite had increased exponentially. The couple announced that they are expecting their first child on Instagram.
They captioned the joint upload as
They have been keeping a secret. Their family is growing, and their hearts are so full! This was a dream come true for them, and they are so thrilled to be welcoming their baby girl in January 2024.
Palmer and Fardo began dating in 2017 and got engaged in Paris in July 2019. They privately married in Connecticut in June 2020, having cancelled their planned wedding in Provence, France, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jesse Palmer hosted the Golden Wedding with fear
A few days before his wife gave birth to their daughter, Jesse Palmer opened “The Golden Wedding” by announcing that he may miss the birth of their baby.
He actually was not sure that he was going to make it there since his wife Emely is in the last month of her pregnancy and can give birth to their child at any moment. The retired NFL player feared that his wife would have to give birth while he was away. He also assured her that he would come right away and ask her to call him if she needed anything.
While he did make it through the two-hour broadcast, the 45-year-old rushed home as soon as the cameras stopped rolling. After signing out for the night that day, he said that he has to get out of the show as soon as possible because he is about to become a dad. He also said to his wife that he was coming home for both of them.
Some on social media mocked the expectant father for attending the Golden Wedding instead of being at home with his pregnant wife. Others suggested that the most spectacular event would be Palmer becoming a father on the night of the Golden Wedding.
But now that Ella Reine Palmer has arrived, “Bachelor Nation” has inundated the post with congratulations and messages of support.
