Pluton turned into a dog in the previous chapter. Readers are curious to find out how Jiwoo, Kayden, and Kartein would deal with him in Eleceed Chapter 280.
Pluton could not believe that Kayden was using his awakened power in such a way. Kayden was already tired after using full power, and as Pluton expected, Kayden was indeed a formidable enemy opponent.
Kayden informed Pluton that he had already taught him everything he could and mentioned that it was up to him whether he wanted to practice hard enough to succeed or not.
Pluton assured him he would succeed and explained to him that since he could do it, he could do it too. Kayden was ready to teach him some manners.
Pluton decided to take his leave and try out his powers. Pluton found Kayden when he was resting, and Kayden told him he was very tired.
Jiwoo was wondering where Pluton was headed because he had run into him. When Pluton was walking out with a serious face, Kayden informed Pluton that he had gone out to try what he had taught him.
But Kayden did not get why people like Pluton were always fixated on meaningless skills. Kayden himself could not even completely turn back into the state he was in before.
Jiwoo suggested to Kayden that Pluton must have had a good reason for learning that skill. Kayden told him he did have some ideas on what it could be.
Jiwoo was curious about what it was all about. Kayden told him people like Pluton hit a bottleneck in their growth when they reached such a high level of strength.
To break free from that phase of stagnant growth, they had to do whatever they could to get stronger. Jiwoo was wondering what Kayden had to do to get out of that phase.

Kayden felt that with people like Kartein and Pluton, the phenomenon would become very interesting to them. He knew that those two would wonder if it was the secret to getting out of slumps and if it was the key to rapid growth.
Kayden explained to Jiwoo that he could learn a skill that was completely out of the realm of what he previously thought.
By thinking that he could get stronger, Jiwoo knew what Kayden meant. But it was a bit odd for him to believe that Pluton was so desperate to learn that technique just because Kayden used it.
Kayden figured out that Jiwoo was planning something, but he agreed that it did not look right. Pluton was acting so pathetically just to learn a skill.
Meanwhile, Pluton was making desperate attempts to turn into a cat. But unfortunately, he could not make it happen.
Pluton thought that it might be because he was not compatible with one specific cat. He decided to go and look for some other cats instead, but even after trying it on different cats.
Pluton still could not manage to turn, he was losing his mind because it was not just Kayden but Kartein who could do it too. He was wondering why he was the only one who could not turn into a cat.
It had been two days but Pluton still had not returned home. Everyone was wondering why he was not coming back home.
Kartein suggested to Kayden that Pluton was probably embarrassed that he could not transform. That’s why he could not bear to show them his face by returning home.
No one was expecting that Pluton would return home but fortunately he showed up by transforming himself into a dog.
