Everybody is showing their hand, which brings about a pivotal moment on the Oval, and the storylines are likely to intensify, which will propel these characters that we’ve come to know and love into new uncharted territories. So join me as we prepare to engage in the dynamic second half of the season of Tyler Perry’s The Oval.
Everybody in the White House has revealed their true intentions. Backstories have been revealed, and all the tension and conflicts have escalated. This alone leads us to some unexpected alliances and more bitter betrayals.
And I say this because each of these characters has pretty much made their decision right and solidified which side of the White House they’re really on, and these decisions will affect their actions moving forward.
Recap
Before diving into The Oval Season 5 Episode 13, let’s quickly recap and review the previous episode. In the last episode, we saw Richard confronting his father and his wife.
We saw Jason threaten to burn down the White House, and Hunter discovered that his wife was not only having an affair with his arch nemesis but also conspiring with him to get rid of him and then take over the White House.
I want to first address this call that Jason made to Hunter. And we have to remember, guys, that Jason hasn’t talked to Hunter since before he jumped off the roof.
So Jason decided to give him a call because he’s got some unresolved issues and unanswered questions. That scene just maybe the closest thing that we’ve ever gotten to seeing Hunter’s character be so caring and so serious.
This is a big switch. Even though Hunter is a lowdown, dirty brown girl-hunching, coke-headed fool, he still seems to care for his children, right?
And we also have to remember that Hunter and Victoria never wanted kids. Hunter was just this horny frat boy who got the wrong brown girl pregnant in college, right? Because Hunter’s Dad wasn’t having it, he wasn’t having that hit it, then quit it from Hunter Franklin at all.
Tory had been conspiring with Eli this entire time to get Hunter into office as President, with Eli being the Vice President. Then, they get Hunter out of office so that Eli can become the president. So why not just let Eli in on the top from the beginning? Why are the presidential musical chairs?
The real question is, now that Hunter knows what’s been going on with these two, what will his next move be? Now, since Jason is alive, Jason is his ace in the hole. Jason can turn things around, and he can conspire with his dad and then go to the press and tell them everything.
But will Jason do it? A lot more happened in previous episodes, but now let’s discuss when Episode 13 of The Oval Season 5 will be released and what will happen in it.
