Well, Steve, being the sneaky romantic, starts fidgeting, and Carol’s like, “What’s up?” And boom! He’s on one knee, popping the question. Classic move. Carol, a bit shocked at first, thinking it was a joke, but nope, it’s the real deal. She says yes, of course!
Now, let’s talk about that bling. Steve knows his stuff; he picked out the perfect ring. A halo ring with a shiny central diamond and more diamonds around it – classic move, Steve! Carol’s impressed, not just with the ring but also with the fact that he nailed the size. Love is in the air!

Their love journey kicked off in 1990 when she was just 28. But, as the love gods have it, the shock waves of their split rippled through the airwaves in 2008.
The big reveal, however, took a little more time. It wasn’t until Carol took to the dance floor of Strictly Come Dancing seven years later, twirling around with pro-Pasha Kovalev, that she truly opened up about her heart’s journey.
She spilled the beans, saying, “I was married for a pretty long time, and I got married quite young, so it is nice doing things I have the freedom to do as it stands now. If I want to go out to the theatre or go out with my friends for dinner, I have got that freedom.” Cheers to newfound freedom and love!
