However, seems like his actions were all for nothing because a Hero has already emerged and the Demon King wasn’t holding himself back too much from using magic either. The Fairy King actually interpreted the oracle and when he saw Deon for the first time, he realized that was something very special and odd about him.
Somehow, he becomes the commander of the 0th Corps of the Demon Army because of a misunderstanding and now he has to live on the edge trying to balance everything.

Recap
In the previous chapter of I’m Not That Kind of Talent, the Demon King and Deon were together when the Fairy King suddenly appears in front of them in a confusing turn of events. The Demon King was also confused and he asks the Fairy King why he appeared in front of him since the Fairy King doesn’t even like him at all.
Well, the Fairy King just looked annoyed because the Demon King barged in so suddenly and had the audacity to act offended. He then takes out a giant seed and asks the Demon King how he was planning to take responsibility for the world tree seed that got corrupted by the Demonic Magic.
Hein basically says that it can be grown but nothing can be done about the magic energy that had already contaminated it. The Fairy King begins freaking out because his entire race was entrusted with the World Tree Seed but the Demon King just makes fun of him for saying that, calling him a loyal dog.
This causes more friction between the Fairy King and Demon King since both of them have different views about the world and their role in it. That is when the Mermaid Queen appears and Deon immediately recognizes her. The Mermaid Queen transforms her tail and keeps giving Deon gentle looks that start to disturb him.
He wonders why she was looking at him like that. The Mermaid Queen tells them that she saw future for the first time in a long while and the future she saw was quite special. Apparently, a new hero was to be born in the world and it had already happened, even after everything Demon King did to prevent that.
