Kim Dan will be faced with a new choice after coming across one of Jaekyung’s former physiotherapists. Kim wasn’t expecting to run into him, as the man was not a part of their lives, but that wasn’t the important thing. After having a short conversation with him, Kim Dan is left wondering about his relationship with Jaekyung in Jinx Chapter 42.
The Yaoi Manhwa is once again putting Kim Dan in the spot and bearing the burden. Kim Dan has always been the one who has to make the tough choices in the series, which is a good strategy. He has become a fan favorite, and his actions are the ones that steer the direction most of the time.
Then there is also Jaekyung, who is a beast of instinct and does whatever he wants, however, he wants. But there is more to him than that, as shown by the story’s continued effort to mute his thoughts. But it is clear by now that the man has only two things in mind, winning and screwing when frustrated.
Jinx Chapter 43 Spoilers
Jinx Chapter 42 will have Kim Dan wondering an old question that he hadn’t thought about in a while. When Kim Dan was still debt-ridden, Jaekyung came to take care of his debt and set him free. But, in exchange, Kim Dan was now bound to the MMA fighter and pay him all the accumulated debt.
The Doc thought that Jaekyung would put him to for the rest of the time while he worked on the debt. It didn’t happen for some time, but Jaekyung did use Kim Dan for pleasure sometime later. But then an emergency came, and the relationship between the two changed significantly, making Dan wonder what the MMA fighter thought of him.
Kim Dan hadn’t had to think for the longest time on what are Jaekyung’s intentions for him. He had only gotten positive messages from the guy and interpreted them as him being okay with Kim Dan’s presence, especially after the US match. However, after meeting one of the older Jaekyung’s Jinx and having a short exchange with him, he has doubts again as to whether things between them are real.
Jinx Chapter 42 Recap
Jinx Chapter 41 started with Kim Dan looking at Jaekyung’s reports and how his health was faring. The romance series‘ bottom has taken it upon himself to look for a solution that would make Jaekyung happy in the long run. After all, the MMA fighter has decided to take the road of self-deterioration in the face of hard choices.
We have said in past articles that Jaekyung has insecurity issues that led him to act unreasonably in some scenarios—rendering him unable to make sound judgments when he has been pushed to a certain degree by the circumstances that surround him. One can think of a cat being put into water for a bath and showing her aggressive side all of a sudden.
While it is easier for the readers to see what the core of the issues is, Kim Dan won’t. For starters, the doc is slow on the uptake and doesn’t catch on the cues for what should be done. But that fate (plot) is on his side as he meets an old face that will nudge him in the right direction.
