Lunatia was crying because her father got mad at her after her sister Rosalie and Soleil got into a fight. They pushed her away when she tried to stop them.
Lunatia ended up crashing into Cynthia, and she started crying because she got hurt. Grandmother assured Lunatia she did not do anything wrong and assured her that she would scold Lunatia’s father for her.
Lunatia asked her grandmother if they were mad at her because she was useless. After all, they did not need her as much as her other siblings. Lunatia wished that she could read the future like her grandmother.
But her grandmother told her she vowed to stop using that power a long time ago and made a promise to her that she would never read the future again ever again.
No matter how much they asked her, it was not a good ability. Grandmother was sure Lunatia would inherit her power because she was very much like her.
But she assured her that even if she did not inherit it, she still deserved love. Grandmother was her only ally, and she gave her the memoir.
She died of an illness soon after. Lunatia finally got her ability not long after her passing, but she was too young to fully comprehend her grandmother’s words.
So, she kept using her power because she was desperate to be needed by her family. But later in her life, she regretted not listening to her because then her future could have been different.

Lunatia was finally awake after her long sleep, and Ceila was there with her the entire time. Ceila informed her she had been sleeping for three hours after she collapsed and mentioned that Nox carried Lunatia to her room.
Lunatia was surprised after hearing that Nox carried her. Celia told her he carried her princess style and mentioned that she always wanted to get carried like that.
Lunatia was embarrassed that she made Nox do that for her. Celia thanked Lunatia for what she did for Robert and told her she and Robert would do anything to repay the debt.
Celia assured Lunatia that she would prepare the dress for her and reminded her that Nox was waiting for her at the dinner table. So they needed to hurry, but Lunatia reminded her it was way past dinner time.
She was wondering if he waited to have dinner with her. After getting ready, Lunatia joined Nox for the dinner.
Nox asked her how she was feeling after waking up. Lunatia told him she was alright but mentioned that she was a little tired.
She apologized to Nox for burdening him and making him wait to eat with her. Nox told her he did not mind, and he asked her to take a seat next to him.
Lunatia told him the food was delicious, and Nox told her she liked the food. Lunatia realized Nox’s chef was even better than the one in the Hersell household.
She decided to savor every bite before her sense of taste disappeared. Nox reminded her that she had requested that he kill her.
He asked Lunatia if she was afraid of him because of that. Luntia explained that she was not afraid because she believed that he would be able to carry out her request.
