He explained that it was not just him, as anyone who was appointed captain of the Black Lion Knights had to go into Sir Vermouth’s grave to swear on their lives to protect the family.
Eugene asked him what kind of place it was, and Xenox told him not to think of it as too luxurious. But since it was deeply regarded as a secret, he could not tell him any details.
Xenox mentioned that it was some sort of temple, and Eugene thought that Sir Vermouth probably became a god when he passed away.
He considered that maybe it was a setup to worship him. Eugene realized that if Vermouth had become a god. Then, reincarnating his dead friend would be possible, but only if he had acquired omnipotence and omniscience.
Eugene believed that he would not have fought Senya. Xenox was done with the writing by that time. Eugene saw the writing and thought that it was a total mess.

Eugene informed him that wrapping it around his body was destructive divine qi. Eugene told him he should stop making him do all the work, and he handed him the scripture.
Eugene advised Xenox if Dave Carmen or anyone else told him to take him in as his disciple. He should reject them. Xenox did not want to do that. Eugene asked Xenox if he was planning to order him around when he was his senior.
Xenox told him that’s not what he meant and explained that if someone like him joined the Black Lion Knights. Eugene warned Xenox that he would take it back, so Xenox assured him that he would reject them right away.
