Let’s talk a bit about this tragic romance drama. Esaret premiered on 21st November 2022, and the first part ended with the release of a total of 160 episodes. On public demand, the drama made a comeback with a second season on 11th September 2023.
Now let’s talk a bit about the storyline of this drama. Esaret is a thriller romance drama which tells the story of Orhun and Hira. Orhun the heir of the Dermirhan family was raised as cold and arrogant as he never received the motherly love he carved for. But his sister was his eye of apple.
But the disappearance of his twin sister brings him into a huge breakdown and he vows to kill the preparator for whom his sister was murdered. Hira on the other hand, is a tragic woman who falls into the trap of human trafficking and thus is jailed.
However, the moment Hira is released she falls into the hands of Orhun who misunderstands her as the one responsible for his sister’s death. She was brought to the Dermirhan family as a slave by Orhun and hence her life was devoted to him.

In the last few episodes of Esaret, we witnessed how Neva played her dirty game to frame Orhun and take her revenge. Neva gives the wrong statement to the police and due to this Orhun ends up in jail for an accusation of kidnapping Neva.
Meanwhile, upon hearing this news Afifa couldn’t hold herself back and blamed herself for making Cahngir and Orhun enemies. She goes to jail to meet Orhun and pleads with him to prove his innocence and she also knows that her son can not do such a thing.
On the other hand, at the mansion, Neva and Cahngir break into an argument as Neva reveals her plan to him. Neva explains how she offered more to the real kidnapper to help her in framing Orhun as the real kidnapper. Cahngir gave a complete opposite to Neva’s ridiculous conspiracy. He fears that if the real truth comes out both their life will be hell.
On the other hand, Hira and Afifa both were trying their best to find any solution and get Orhun free from the accusation. A serious incident happens in the prison, as Orhun is transferred to the main jail and there the other prisoner plans to hurt him.
