Victoria, Eli, and other individuals all want to be powerful, and the Whitehouse is a place full of secrets when the new season of Tyler Perry’s television show The Oval debuted earlier in October of this year, things at the White House were at an all-time low.
The lives of the president’s family and every employee at the establishment are the focus of the political drama The Oval. A family in positions of authority rarely has a peaceful existence; there are always betrayals, both overt and subtle.
The fifth season of The Oval starts to focus more on Nancy, Eli, and the other members of the supporting cast. Russell Thomas as Eli, Daniel stars as Jason, Ed Quinn as Hunter, and Kron Moore as Victoria are the cast members returning for this season.
There will also be a reappearance of Hunter’s butler, played by Javon Johnson as Richard Hallsen and Ptosha Storey as his wife Nancy. In Season 5, Hunter steps down as president, and Eli takes over the role temporarily.
Recap
Donald questions Victoria about her secret plans for Eli. He didn’t want Eli to read about what transpired in the Whitehouse before them because he thought Victoria would act. Because she finds him boring, Victoria wants him to leave.
Eli gives Bobby and Max separate assignments after they speak. Max and Kyle are to watch the president, Eli asks. Lilly advises Alonzo to leave before her husband does him any harm when he gets to her house.
Donald suggests that the doctor treat Hunter sooner rather than later. The doctor warns him that starting treatments too soon could exacerbate his organ damage and prevent him from recovering.
Donald ensures that Victoria and the others won’t be able to visit Hunter until he has fully recovered since he is in danger of dying.
During their encounter, Donald shares Victoria’s objectives with the recently minted First Lady. He wants Victoria to know that he believes there’s a high probability she and Eli are working together.
Eli receives a call from Victoria asking to meet. Richard tries to calm Nancy down once she returns from her insane state. Nancy knows something that she will only be able to share until her mental health has stabilized.
Since Highest departed, Nancy has been acting strangely, hyperactive, and as though she had experienced some sort of trauma. This implies that she has probably witnessed something ominous involving Barry.
Victoria did everything within her ability to make sure she was safe and secure, but she might need to come up with a different plan now that Hunter knows about her and Eli’s plans.
Hunter lets loose his wrath on Alonzo, and Victoria and Eli solidify their grip on presidential power while Jason plots his getaway and attempts to conceal his identity from the Rakudushi.
While Jason accepts that he can no longer hide, Dale assists Allan, who may be involved in a bigger scheme, and Hunter finds Victoria in a dangerous predicament.
Jason is organizing his getaway and attempting to conceal his true identity from the Rakudushi, while Eli and Victoria are strengthening their grip on presidential power, and Hunter is taking his vengeance out on Alonzo.
After Hunter makes fidelity-related accusations that might totally upend the district, Kareem is brought against his will from the hospital to face Hunter once and for all.
