After making Unforgotten Night, Y Entertainment is back with a scripted Thai BL series called For Him, which contains romance and drama. BL stands for ‘Boys-Love,’ based on the Japanese genre ‘Yaoi.’ It is popular among young Thai women and represents the Queer community.
Y Entertainment’s Unforgotten Night is based on the same concept, and For Him is no exception. Reportedly, the Oh! My Sunshine Night (2022) and Secret Crush On You (2022) actor Dew Nitikorn Pankram will play the lead role, Him, in For Him.
My Sunshine Night (2022) and Secret Crush On You (2022) are based on the BL genre, which increases our expectations from Dew in For Him, directed by NTW Pattaravut Sangyayah.
Another cast member is Tor Atagorn Sonyot (he will play Nail), an active actor and model in Thailand. The mechanical engineer from the Nan province will debut as a leading actor after only making a guest appearance in a TV show named SosatSeoulsay (2020).
Meanwhile, the supporting character, Dream, will be played by Ryan Panya Mcshane, who played a supporting role in ‘Oh! My Sunshine Night (2022),’ and leading in ‘Twins (2023).’
Synopsis
For Him is based on an adult novel with the same name, where Him and Nail get into a relationship after a one-night stand. However, it does not end there. Him enters Nail’s life, but their past does not let them relax.
According to the official trailer, the series has a lot of intimate scenes. The story begins when Him offers a drink to Nail, and they decide to go home together and indulge in physical acts. Girls get crazy for Him, who talks about Nail and does not reciprocate their feelings.
Amid the blossoming gay romance, Nail joins his friend to surprise Him with a birthday cake and ends up catching him with another guy. Nail, who wanted Him to respect the stuff that happened between them, wishes to see him unhappy hereafter.
Further, Nail gets intimate with another guy after getting a proposal from him, while the past takes a toll on Him through a mysterious photo, which leads to a turning point.
The remaining supporting actors in For Him are Tong Supanut Sudjinda as Chao, Toon Panisara Prinyarux Chao Chom, Peat Suchanon Chueluecha Pae, Baitoey Punnisa Sirisang Phaploy, Ging Areeya Pholphutrakul Yihwa, Nampetch Aissaree Tharakoolphipat Somsom, Yoon Phusanu Wongsavanischakorn Van, and Pop Pitcherpat Tanta as Kao.
Y Entertainment uploaded a video on its official YouTube Channel where the cast members shared their views regarding the trailer. According to the cast members, it was hot and might not offend anyone because people are more open now. However, the trailer is only an appetizer because the cast knows how hot it was while filming the whole series.
The cast members could not stop boasting each other. Dew Nitikorn Pankram wished to have a real-life friend like Chao because he is a typical man gifted with beauty. The trailer shows the leading characters getting intimate in a dark room with a pinch of red light, which makes it hotter.
