Itagaki will have another chapter about his bout with the social media the one that flame war online. However, it isn’t surprising since he seems to be the type that acts first and thinks later, unlike the main character. However, Ippo is already at the recovery stage and will be a bit of an outsider to the conversation in Hajime no Ippo Chapter 1442.
Ippo had been out of the loop for long, very long, ever since his retirement from boxing. Ippo got into boxing only because he wanted to see what he was capable of in the beginning. To him, boxing was a way to find his place in the world and stand up to those who look down on him.
And once Ippo realized that he had nothing to prove to anyone, he distanced himself from the wrong. However, fans knew that he would return to the ring one day with a renewed purpose and a bigger drive. We finally got to see this happen in the past few chapters as Ippo had his first match in years in the action series.

Hajime no Ippo Chapter 1442 will continue where it left off in the last chapter, with Itagaki’s despair over the trouble he had caused. True, it would be nice to see some boxing in the action series, especially with Ippo who had been out for a while.
But, unlike many other series, Hajime no Ippo is slow-paced and things happen only after some build-up in consecutive chapters. Even Ippo’s return, which was hinted at very early, took a great deal of time before it happened. And the result of it was great elation of one of the greatest shonen protagonists returning to the ring, literally and figuratively.
However, Ippo is not always the center of the series, and the series works even without it. Though it prospers when he is the main lead, we digress. Itagaki and Co. will be discussing the flames of war that had been happening between the fans online. And what they can do to stop it.
Recap
Hajime no Ippo Chapter 1441 started with Ippo and co. jogging in the morning for practice. Everyone was in good shape other than Ippo, who had taken some good punches in the last match, hence riding a bike. Itagaki had come to greet the jogging group to tell them a piece of important news about his status.
For the rest of the chapters, the sports series turned into commentary about social media and how it affects their lives. Itagaki was a little reserved when he remembered that Ippo didn’t have a smartphone but decided to go with his earlier idea. He had grown in number overnight with just one tweet, and the heat from it doesn’t seem to go down.
However, when everyone came to see what it was about, they realized that Itagaki had made a big mistake. Instead of showing the good part of the last match, he ended up showing the bad part of it.
And this has fanned flames of war on the internet, with Itagaki at its center. The boxer tried to tone down the drama, but he only added more fuel to the fire.
