If the ocean has fascinated you and if you were obsessed with the Bermuda Triangle at some point during your childhood, then this documentary series may just be what you need to watch next.
Airing since November 2022, the documentary titled The Bermuda Triangle: Into Cursed Waters, is a series that dives deep into everything related to the mysterious place. The show introduced us to an elite team of researchers and investigators who, over the seasons, investigate the triangle.
They bring with them a map, intricately and carefully built, one that marks all of the places below the water that experience anomalies. They have found unidentified locations under these waters that have been witnessing something strange for decades now, intriguing humans all over.
Not only does the documentary manage to rekindle our curiosity about the area but it lets us sit with these investigators and listen to them as they explore the different possibilities and conspiracy theories about what could be going on under all that water.
The show has diver and salvage expert, Michael C. Bernette, subject expert, Wayne Abbott, explorer and treasure hunter, Jimmy Gadomski, history professor, David O’Keefe, and many more as part of the team.
Mark Halliley and Rushmore DeNooyer appear in the show as the narrators. A quick search on the net can tell you all about the curious cases that got kickstarted because of the Bermuda Triangle but were never put to an end due to their mysterious nature.
The team on the show touches on such cases as well including the lost A3 Skywarrior aircraft case and the curious case of how twenty-seven American Navy aviators along with their crew on Flight 19, just vanished into thin air, never to be found again.
The documentary recently aired its second season, announcing its grand return to our screens with more theories and speculations about the cursed triangle. If you want to know more about the upcoming episode of the new season, then make sure to stay to the end.
Recap
In the first episode of the season, we were taken back to 1960 when the disappearance of the A3 Skywarrior aircraft took place. The incident had everyone, especially the investigators at the time in a chokehold, as they just could not seem to find out what it was that had caused the aircraft to get lost off its USS Saratoga carrier.
This kicked off the second season and in the upcoming episode, we will take a look at another mystery case of the Bermuda Triangle. Titled ‘The Missing Giants’, the episode will focus on the 1941 twin vanishing of two huge cargo ships.
Turns out that these two ships, which anyone could have spotted from far off, vanished from the face of the Earth. First was the USS Proteus that got lost forever after crossing the triangle and only two weeks later, when the first case was not even close to being solved, another ship called the USS Nereus, dropped off somewhere we have never been able to find.
This season is all set to bring to us unfortunate yet intriguing cases of transport as big as you could imagine getting lost in a realm we have not been able to mark.
