Kuze decided to help Ayla in the previous chapter. Readers are excited to find out how Kuze would handle the situation with the teams in Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian Chapter 29.
Kuze told the president he would think a bit more about his decision to join the student council. The president suggested he think about it thoroughly.
Kuze asked the president about Alya, and Misha informed him that Alya had gone to settle a dispute between some sports clubs.
But she mentioned that she was late, and Kuze had not heard about the dispute. Misha explained that the baseball club and soccer club were fighting over their right to use the school grounds.
Misha mentioned that Chisaki was in charge of dealing with club disputes, but she was absent. So Misha thought it would be a good experience for Alya and asked her to get the work done. But it seemed like Alya was having a hard time because of that.
Meanwhile, the students from the baseball club and soccer club were still fighting with each other. Alya tried to calm them down.
Alya explained that she had prepared the training ground for them at the riverbank close to school. She suggested that a team with fewer members should move first.
But the guys told her to shut up, and Kuze went to check up on Alya. He wanted to see if the guys did not turn it into a fistfight.
Kuze suggested to Alya that it was impossible to solve that day. He suggested to Alya that she should focus on breaking them up.
Kuze did not want to step in because he was not related to the matter. Because he knew that Alya would not be able to hold her position if he barged in on her matter.
Kuze thought it would be better for Alya to ask the president and Misha for help. But he knew Alya would never be upfront about her troubles and ask others for help.
Recap
Alya wanted to do something, but she was unsure what to do in that situation. She wanted the teams to listen to what she had to say.
But she could not figure out why. Alya blamed herself for not understanding other people’s feelings. She always considered the people around her as rivals and competed against them on her own.
But Alya never tried to understand others and get close to them. Alya was not confident that she could move others’ hearts with her words.
Kuze wanted to help Alya, but he was not part of the student council. Kuze was aware that if he cut into their discussion, they would not listen to him because he was just a first-year student.
Kuze decided to go back to the student council room for the time being and bring the press. Alya was wondering what Kuze would have done if he had been in her place.
Alya knew she could not do things like Kuze. She knew being alone was her fault, but she was not sure what she could do in that situation.
Alya asked for help in Russian. Kuze heard her plea, but he was unsure why Alya was saying it in Russian when nobody could understand her.
Kuze thought Ayla was too clumsy, but that was entirely why he could not leave her alone. Kuze decided to step in as a student council general affairs officer to help Ayla with the teams.
