The wait has finally been over, and GTA 6 is officially on its way. Rockstar Games has officially confirmed that we will be getting a trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto game in early December.
Fans have been begging for any GTA content for over a decade, and it has reached its fever pitch. And if you haven’t been in the loop with GTA 6 over the past year, we actually know a lot more about the game than you may think.
And in this article, we will be talking about how much GTA 6 will cost when it gets released. However, before we get into how much it will cost, let’s first see what all the things we will get in GTA 6.
New Things to Expect in GTA 6
Let’s start with its engine. The Euphoria physics has been tweaked along with the overall physics of the game from GTA 5. The lighting and the Skybox systems from Red Dead Redemption 2 can be seen in GTA 6.
So, things like volumetric clouds & better lighting will all be a massive step up and even a bit of a step up from Red Dead Redemption 2. In the leaks, we saw heavy fog, which we didn’t really see in GTA 5, except for maybe when it’s snowing.
But advanced weather systems will be a lot more present in GTA 6. We already know of quite a few characters who will be in GTA 6. Of course, we know the two main characters are Jason and Lucia, but in the leaks, fans have also found a lot of other characters’ names.
First off, we know there will be a character named Dre and also a character named Sam, who is a friend of Dre. There is also a character named Kai Wyman, Billy tit, Zack, RB Shaw, Vickym Iris, Shanese, Boobie, and YJ.
It’s honestly quite crazy that we have these details, but we know the height of the characters in the game. So Lucia is 5’3, and Jason is going to be 6’1. We also know the names of three different gangs that will be in Vice City Sand for Sand, which is a Haitian gang.
We’ve got the Guardia Brothers and the Far Right Militia gang, too. We also know of a bunch of different items and tools. We have the auto dialer, binoculars, immobilizer bypass, a cut-off tool, painkillers, pool queue, trauma kits, golf driver, food and drink, a golf putter, USB drive, a golf iron, a crowbar, a golf wedge, torch, slim gem, tracker Jammer, duffel bag for your loot cigarettes, and a backpack,
Again. for your loot, we also have a list of confirmed weapons. A rocket launcher, an assault rifle, a baseball bat, a polymer pistol, a knife, a bolt action sniper, a Molotov, a spear gun, a smoke grenade, a compact SMG, a flashbang, a micro SMG, a Hunter sniper heavy machine gun, auto rifle, and a pump action shotgun, The weapon wheel will be split up into three sections weapons equipment and gear very similar to Red Dead Redemption 2.
How Costly Will Be GTA 6?
Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two Interactive and publisher of Grand Theft Auto 6, has gone on record saying that he thinks the game should be more expensive. Zelnick said that the longer the game and the more you’re expected to play it, the more you’ll pay for it.
Going on to say, “In terms of pricing for any entertainment property, basically, the algorithm is the value of the expected entertainment usage, which is to say that the per-hour value times the number of expected hours.
Plus, the terminal value that’s perceived by the customer in ownership is if the title is actually owned and not rented or subscribed to. And you’ll see that bears out in every kind of entertainment vehicle.
But that standard, our Frontline prices are still very low because we offer many hours of Engagement.” So, if Strauss Zelnick were to apply this logic to Grand Theft Auto 6, it would likely carry a price tag worth several hundred dollars, and we would have to pay around a dollar for one hour.
That’s how expansive Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected to be. So even if Strauss Zelnick wants the game to be a couple hundred, it’ll likely have a price tag of 60 or 70.
