We will see Sylvia be a little confused as she gets a bad premonition for Randal and his well-being. The male lead of the romance story has come across a big hurdle that he can’t do by himself. However, Randal has a party of Knights with him that will subdue the beast in Hoping for My Death Chapter 8.
Thelma and Walcott were only mentioned in the last chapter, but they didn’t make any appearance in the last chapters. However, given the things taking place in the last chapter, it is likely that they will show themselves soon. The events in the last chapter indicate that there will be great trouble following Randal during his little quest.
However, the action-like moment didn’t come out of nowhere but was due to Randal taking care of his domain. If that has showcased anything, it is this: out of many male leads in this genre, the one in this story is responsible. However, with great responsibility comes great lot of troubles, a lesson that Randal might learn sooner rather than later.

Hoping for My Death Chapter 8 will have the fantasy manhwa continue with Randal and his knight facing a big snake. Monsters are a common occurrence in a series like this, but they are not the main focus. That is until there needs to be some development between the characters, and the plot has to move forward.
We see the signs of the monster first being mentioned when Randal was going out for rounds and he came across some kids. The kids in question have left the sanctuary of their lordship and run into the forest for mischief, Or so it seemed. It turned out that they were only trying to help their parents by tending to the garden.
The kid’s action made Randal worried, and he decided to give Forest a visit based on his hunch. He was betting that one of the crystals in the forest had come off, and a monster was lost among them. His hunch turned out to be true when he and his Knights faced a monster in the middle portion of the forest.

Hoping for My Death Chapter 7 starts with Sylvia teasing her husband during their breakfast, trying to lessen the distance between them. Randal was still split on whether or not Sylvia was an enemy to him or an ally as his wife. However, he can’t discern any of it as the way he is now, but that doesn’t matter much.
Sylvia had her fill with teasing and proceeded to enjoy the meal until she realized she had quite an ordeal ahead of her. Randal had prepared a meal for her that was customary for the wife of the duke to take. This led to her losing her mask and acting all sullen to the sight of the pixelated food.
It was all a prank from the Duke of the Mansion to get a reaction out of the female lead. This also showcased how Randal has started to grow in the company of her now wife, who is all too happy to tease her. And speaking of teasing, Sylvia got back at Randal by poking at him by the end of their conversation.
