Though it was meant to be secret, the Chief divulged that the Grand Palace of Ahalla would host part of the covert World Competition in the coming semester.

When Kim questioned if all the teachers were aware of the World Competition, the Chief said news had not yet reached the faculty. When pressed on how she knew, the Chief vaguely credited her great sources.
She went on to explain that the World Competition would resemble the School Competition in structure. However, whereas their national contest pitted South Korea, China, and the US against each other, this global event was more akin to the Academic Olympics. It would bring scholarly contenders from countries across the world together to face off in intellectual battles.
