So with that being said, here we bring you the latest updates on the amazing Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 anime ongoing anime.
Recap And Review
The episode prior to Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 15 was criticized on the internet for the rushed and unpolished episode as some of the scenes felt off and while we agree with the rushed episode, it is hard to expect a top-quality episode every week given that there are fights involved in every single episode now.
Nevertheless, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 15 was one of the best-animated episodes so far which featured an amazing fight Toji against the cursed spirit. This episode begins where the previous one had left off with Toji entering the domain which was the escape plan of Megumi and the others.
Toji Vs Dagon
What follows for the next 5 minutes of the sequence is the fight between Toji and the cursed spirit Dagon. As Toji enters the Domain, the first thing he does is get the cursed tool Maki who notes how incredibly fast the former is, and seeing that he forcefully took the weapon from her, who has a huge strength, makes her wonder who he is.
As Toji approaches the cursed spirit, Naobiti is surprised to see him and cannot believe what he is seeing. The cursed spirit notes that Toji doesn’t have any cursed energy and therefore, he won’t waste his time on him and proceeds to attack the rest of them however, Toji easily suppresses Dagon and he is forced to drive all of his attention on him.

As the fights get more difficult for Dagon, he uses all of this power to push Toji back using all the summoned sea creatures however, it is to no avail as Toji continues to get over all the obstacles. Dagon notes that he must take Megumi so that he can get his sure-hit effect of the Domain but Toji is not letting him think.
As Dagon is barely able to stand, Toji starts sharpening the cursed tool to a point where it has pointy edges which will end Dagon for good. Dagon tries to levitate in the air but Naobito pushes him back to the ground and thus Toji stabs Dagon with the curse tool until Dagon is dead and the domain disappears.
Jogo Enters and Killing Sorcerers
As this fight comes to an end, Nanami, Megumi, Maki, and Naobito are worried about what Toji will be doing next. On instinct, Toji takes Megumi out of the scene with the latter not even realizing that he has been kicked back.
Then the scene switches from them back to where Nanami and the others are and they note that Jogo has arrived. Nanami quickly notes that Jogo is way stronger than Dagon. Jogo sees that Dagon has been killed and promises him that they will meet again in the wasteland in the future and proceeds to kill Nanami and the others.
Jogo immediately blasts away Nanami and then Maki who doesn’t even see it coming. Naoabito uses his cursed technique to avoid being hit however, it is to no avail and Jogo eventually gets him. As Jogo proceeds to kill Naobito for good, he notes the presence of Sukuna but realizes that it isn’t Sukuna himself but a finger that has been released somewhere.
Feeding Yuji Fingers And Reviving Sukuna
The scene switches to where Yuji is defeated by Choso where Mimiko and Nanako are feeding him a finger hoping to summon Sukuna. Jojo enters the scene and notes that they are feeding Yuji’s fingers and attacks them before turning his attention to Yuji.
A flashback is displayed which sees fake Geto explaining to Jogo that Yuji wouldn’t give control to Sukun even if he has been fed all 20 fingers however, it is only if Yuji has been fed a single finger a day. But if Yuji were to be fed a bunch of fingers at the go, then Sukuna would get control even if it is for a short period.
Thus, Jogo feeds Sukuna ten fingers that he brought with him at once hoping to get Sukuna back. Jogo notes that the girls haven’t died and realizes that their curse technique must have saved them and proceeds to attack them again but notes that his hand has been cut off as Sukuna comes back and orders him to get his hand away from him.
Sukuna Gets Control and Makes A Deal With Jogo
As Sukuna is back, the three presently are overwhelmed by his presence and follow every single word that Sukuna says. Sukuna talks to the girls and says that he will give them the time of a single finger.
Nanako tells him about how the person who has been taken over Geto wants to kill him and in return will give him another finger but Sukuna immediately kills the girls saying that he doesn’t like to be ordered around.
Moving to Jogo, Sukuna asks what he wants but Jogo says nothing but his revival was his goal. Jogo adds that he wants him to make a pact with Yuji while he is unconscious so that he can gain even more control however Sukuna says that he has plans of his own.
However, Sukuna challenges Jogo if the latter is able to land a single hit on him then he will work under them which Jogo accepts and thus, a fight between them is set.
Expectations And Preview
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 16 is titled “Thunderclap” and the episode will feature two of the fights that were set up in the latest episode. The episode will most likely feature the events from the manga as they are adapting the first battle that is between Toji and Megumi from Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 112.
The fight between Toji and Megumi lasts only a single chapter in the manga and therefore the first half of the episode will see this event to be concluded. Moving forward, we will see the fight between Sukuna and Jogo being continued.
This fight lasts for about three chapters in the manga and from the way the episodes have been adapted into the anime, we are hoping to see this fight being concluded as well. Thus, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 16 might also feature a total of 4 chapters from the manga.
This episode will feature one of the best scenes from the manga again and we are expecting a top-quality episode for sure as the iconic scene of Sukuna using his flames like a bow and arrow will be adapted.
