The Citi Concert Series’ live Jungkook appearance on The Today Show is highly anticipated by BTS’s Army. On November 8, fans can witness Jungkook perform several tracks from his highly anticipated solo album, GOLDEN. The live broadcast in Eastern Time will begin at 8 AM.
Even though Jungkook’s appearance at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2023 was postponed, he now has a wonderful chance to show off his skills once more. Rockefeller Plaza’s Today Show event is set to start at 5:15 AM.
On the day of the performance, attendees can choose to either get a Fan Pass or wait in line for general admission. Please note, though, that space permitting, entry to the general admission line is subject to availability.
Jungkook’s solo career
In his solo career, Jungkook is having a great start. His solo debut came in July 2023 with the digital single “Seven,” which was followed by “3D.” Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of his first solo album, “Golden,” which is set to drop on November 3.
This album features eleven tracks in total, featuring collaborations from David Guetta, Major Lazer, DJ Snake, Latto, and Jack Harlow.
Jungkook ranks second on the Billboard Global 200
Amazingly, Jungkook’s “Seven” from BTS is still at the top of the Billboard charts for the tenth week running. Notably, “Seven” is currently the longest-charting song on the Billboard charts by a non-American artist.
The song is smashing records in the music industry, and at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, it even took home the Song of Summer title. In addition, “Seven” debuted in July 2023 and made its most recent appearance at the Global Citizen Festival.
The most recent Billboard chart data was made available as of September 30. The Global 200 and Global Excl US charts currently have BTS’s song “Seven,” featuring Jungkook, at number two. Unexpectedly, following an amazing nine-week run at the top, “Seven” has held this position for ten weeks running.
The solo debut single “Seven” by Jungkook has broken multiple records. It made history by ranking in the UK Top 40 for ten weeks in a row, and it is still holding strong at the top two spots on the Billboard charts after ten weeks. Furthermore, “Seven” became the K-pop song with the fastest 700 million Spotify plays.
GOLDEN release date and time
Jungkook of BTS is getting ready to release “GOLDEN,” his debut solo album, on November 3 at 1 pm KST (9:30 am IST). “Standing Next to You,” the album’s lead single, will have a music video released on the same day as the album.
Eleven tracks make up the album “GOLDEN,” which includes “3D” with Jack Harlow, “Closer To You” with Major Lazer, “Seven” with Latto in both clean and explicit versions, “Yes or No,” “Please Don’t Change” with DJ Snake, “Hate You,” “Somebody,” and “Shot Glass of Tears.” Fans were given an advance look at the lyrics and general moods of the songs when the individual track posters were unveiled earlier.
Jungkook’s recent endeavors
Jungkook transformed the Global Citizen Festival into a mini-concert while he was performing there in New York City. Together with Latto, he gave a live performance of “Seven” and other songs like “Euphoria” and “Still With You.” At the conclusion of his performance at the Global Citizen Festival, he shockingly revealed the release of his next digital single.
After “Seven,” Jungkook is going to release a new digital single titled “3D,” which will feature American rapper Jack Harlow. The release of “3D” is set for September 29 at 1:00 PM KST. BTS’s Jungkook is expected to show off a more mature side in this song, which will heighten fans’ expectations after “Seven.”
