The latest season of the Demon Slayer anime was an absolute banger, much like its previous season, and this season delivered the quality and the storytelling to the fans that they deserved. There were many different scenarios in the latest season, with Tanjiro and his friends fighting not one but two upper-moon demons.
For the most part of their fight with these demons, it seemed like Tanjro and his friends would not make it out alive, but they did, as Tanjiro’s experience with the previous upper demon fight helped him a lot in overcoming this battle. However, the main highlight of this season was, by far, the fan favorite, Nezuko.
Nezuko did her best to help her brother defeat an upper moon as the dawn was breaking, and while Tanjiro did not want her sister to die, he followed up on what Nezuko pushed him forward to, and that was to cut down the demon’s head.
By doing this, Nezuko has left herself exposed to the sun, burning her skin, but a miracle occurred, and she has survived the sun and can now live as a human again. But does that mean Tanjiro and Nezuko’s adventure has come to an end, as the former’s goal was to turn her sister back into a human again? Is the Demon Slayer anime finished?
Well, we can see why one could think that, but the answer is surprising, and we have a lot to inform you all about where the Demon Slayer anime is headed now.
Is the Demon Slayer anime finished?
As mentioned earlier, Nezuko has conquered the sun and has turned into a human; however, Tanjiro’s adventure is still not over as there are still demons lurking around, and the biggest threat to Nezuko and the all-demon slayer to the humans, Kitbutsuji Muzan, is still alive.
All he wants is to conquer the sun so that he can do his evil deeds during the day as well, and given that Nezuko has now conquered the sun, Kibutsuji Muzan has set his eyes on her and would do anything to get her. Therefore, the threat of the demons to Tanjiro and Nezuko is greater than ever.
Thus, Tanjiro and the other demon slayers will have to take a step forward from what they have been doing. The next season of Demon Slayer will thus see Tanjiro getting ready for the dangers of Kibutsuji Muzan, and here is everything we have about what the new season of Demon Slayer will be about.
Demon Slayer New Season
The release date for Demon Slayer has not been announced, but the earliest we can expect the new season is by the fall of 2024 if it is announced as soon as by the end of this fall or in the winter of 2024. Nevertheless, the new season has been announced, and it will be more exciting than ever, full of action, with Tanjiro getting ready for the training of becoming a Hashira.
What will be even more surprising is that unlike the previous one, which did not feature the fan favorites, Zenitsu and Inosuke will be making their return this season as well in the training arc. The training for these candidates will be done by a new Hashira that we will see in action.

The Stone Hashira, Himejima, will train the trio, and obstacles will be presented by him as he is the strongest Hashira. The Hashira training arc in the ninth arc from the Demon Slayer manga, which isn’t long but is vital considering their opponent will be in the upper moon ranks from now on,
Demon Slayer: The Traigin Hashira arc will go on to adapt chapters 128–136 from the manga, which could be covered in the first three to four episodes of the series. The rest of the season will see the adaptation of the second-last arc from the manga, which will set the Demon Slayers in the final match against the King of Demons, Kibutsuju Mujan.
Thus, we are hoping that Demon Slayer will still have two more seasons to adapt, at least with the last two seasons featuring 12–24 episodes. Once we have more information on the upcoming season, we will provide the new updates as soon as possible.
