All of the cast members from the previous season are returning for more drama in The Real Housewives of Miami season 6, which is set to take up where the ladies left off after a successful season 5.
When viewers last checked in with the women, Lisa Hochstein was going through a contentious divorce from her husband; Julia Lemigova was supporting her spouse, tennis legend Martina Navratilova, during a difficult cancer battle; and Larsa Pippen was just starting a romantic relationship with Marcus Jordan, the son of Michael Jordan, the basketball legend.
These topics are still covered in the upcoming season, along with Guerdy Abraira’s personal health scare. Of course, there will be a ton of additional content, including all the females in the upcoming episodes and the turmoil within the group.
Recap
After what she can only characterize as a “sh-t show” of a trip to the Bahamas, Guerdy throws her Miami melting pot party to bring the girls together. With a light show, a smoke machine, personalized neon signs, and an abundance of liquid bravery, the celebration is extravagant.
Despite Alexia and Marysol’s aversion to Adriana, all the women consent to accompany her. In any case, Guerdy gives it her all, as seen by the amazing celebration she was able to plan. Guerdy turned a concrete storage box into a Miami jungle, including flying bartenders in from New York.
Never in my life have I wanted to attend a party so much, and this one was no exception—it was chaotic and dramatic. “Guerdy’s a fantastic party planner, but let’s see if she can also work miracles,” Nicole Martin teases the guests at the start of the festivities.
Even when Guerdy gets up to speak, she finds it difficult to persuade the women to actually listen to her once the party gets going. But as I clearly saw during this episode, Guerdy’s affection for her friends is best shown through the unique party she arranged for them.
It seems logical that Marysol and Alexia discuss Adriana at the beginning of the episode. They no longer want to be friends with her since they have completely written her off. Lisa Hochstein tries her hardest to get the women to listen to Adriana before Guerdy’s party, but it’s difficult because these two are so excited.
Adriana stands up to offer her apology to the two partying women. She expresses her regret to Marysol, specifically for her nasty comments about her ex-boyfriend. Even Lisa thought it sounded sincere, but Marysol had already written Adriana off. To genuinely listen to her and get over the circumstances would take too much effort.
She always appears to want to avoid facing her emotions by covering them up with a few cocky. Marysol doesn’t give Adriana’s apologies any weight at all. Adriana reiterated that there was no justification for her actions, blaming her actions on a mental breakdown.
It was a terrible excuse, according to Marysol. The Cocky Queen yells, “I didn’t do that to my friends, and I’ve been in a worse position than her.” Marysol is always bringing up the years she spent standing up for Adriana and getting hit in the face, so to speak. What kind of penalty does she believe her new foe should receive? She desires Adriana to make a year-long vow of quiet and remain at home.
