The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess depicts the story of Terakomari, who was in hibernation for the last three years. She always thought the world was irrational.
Fifteen years ago, she was born into the Gandesblood clan, which was one of the most notable clans in the Mulnite Empire.
The Gandesblood clan family had passed down the title of the imperial general for the last thousand years. Terakomari tried her best to meet their expectations, but she quickly gave up. She lacked aplitude and could not even practice magic. Aside from that, she lacked athletic ability, too.
She was very short for her age, and even though she was a vampire, Terakomari could not drink blood. It was a source of nutrients for vampires, but Terakomari could not even stand it.

Terakomari shut herself in for years because power was considered everything in vampire society, but she pledged to be a peace-loving vampire.
The seven crimson lords were the seven strongest and most fearless fighters among the vampires. Who leads the Mulnite army, and Terakomari finds out she has also become part of the army after waking up from her hibernation.
The Crimson lord had a condition under which they had to go to war with another nation and win. Furthermore, once the 100th war was won, Terakomari had the opportunity to gain candidacy to become the next empress.
But Terakomari continued to lose in the war, and she was going to explode. Terakomari became the commander of the 7th unit of the army and led them to their first campaign against the Lapellco army.
So they were her enemy, but since vampires were the type of creature that desired the chance to move up in the world. Terakomari had to behave as the absolute strongest creature in front of her troop to win their acceptance.
