The title for the episode was “Daydreams.” The scene opens with everyone in the workplace running around and Fatima (Crystal Renee Hayslett) on the ground following her shooting by Karen (Ebony Obsidian). Thankfully, it turned out to be wishful thinking on Karen’s behalf, as many admirers had predicted.
Following their mutually awkward apology, Karen threatens to demand all of Zac’s (Devale Ellis) money to support her unborn child. Karen wants Andi to decide between her and Fatima after everything is said and done, but it doesn’t seem like Andi is ready for that.
Karen is followed by Pam (Angela Beyoncé) and Aaron (Kevin A. Walton) to the office to check on her. Aaron tells KJ Smith’s character Andi that he knows the father. No need to make an appearance on Maury Povich.
After Fatima returns home, Zac expresses gratitude for Fatima’s understanding during their entire relationship with Karen. That is a fact. Despite everything going on, Zatima is still a breath of fresh air on the show. Fatima has been handling the Karen and Zac situation with extraordinary elegance and composure; she even offers that the two of them go see Zac’s son, who is with Heather (India Tyree). She is an angel, but a dark angel.
Even though Sabrina (Novi Brown) still depends on African Prince Bayo (Ellis E. Fowler), Calvin (Anthony Dalton) is a dependable support for Sabrina in the most recent Maurice (Brian Jordan Jr.) and Sabrina (Novi Brown) legal crises. She seems to be the only one who is blind to his actual nature. Subsequently, Bayo approaches and exhibits other homophobic behaviors.
It appears like she might be beginning to see the light after all, but before long, Bayo shows his actual intentions and what he wants in exchange for lending her the cash to save Maurice.
