Big Brother’s ITV version already seems to be catching up to the infamous drama its Channel 4 successor was known for. After the intense elimination in the last few episodes, things inside the Big Brother UK house have certainly gotten much more entertaining.
First seen on Channel 4 back in July 2000, Big Brother follows a group of strangers living under the same roof. Besides trying to maintain their strategic relationships within the house, the contestants would also have to compete and win various kinds of interesting tasks that can provide immunity from elimination.
Just like the previous seasons, elimination will be done through voting, with viewers being able to vote for a contestant that they want to see out of the house. A total of 16 contestants were brought in from different walks of life to make the series exciting.
Among the contestants is Noky Simbani, a beauty pageant from Derby. It also consists of People from Glasgow, Limington, Liverpool, Coventry, and various other parts of the UK.
Big Brother UK 2023: What Has Happened So Far?
In the last few episodes of Big Brother UK, we’ve seen the housemates face all kinds of iconic tasks and tests that this show has been known for.
After the Big Bros Ltd. event, the housemates were able to experience what tasks in Big Brother feel like for the first time. Besides the petty drama and fights, most of the housemates just seem to be doing their best to keep good relationships with others in the house; after all, that’s going to be an important part of staying until the end.
Kerry and Farida managed to end up as the first ones to be sent to elimination. Hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best revealed that the first person to be leaving the Big Brother house was Farida. Everyone except Chanelle, Jordan, Matty, Noky, Trish, and Yinrun had voted to eliminate Farida.
The elimination has received mixed reactions since Farida’s personality naturally clashed with those around her (providing the much-needed drama). While leaving, Farida claimed that there were groups already forming within the Big Brother house, and that’s something that the rest of the contestants should watch out for now.

Set to feature episodes just like the good old Big Brother seasons, ITV is going to be making sure that it keeps the most entertaining people within the house. The tasks may seem easier than what we’ve seen in Big Brother’s older seasons, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t fun to watch.
Jordon seems to be getting quite the love, but with everyone, including Olivia, doing their best to keep the drama going, there’s no saying who’ll be emerging at the top by the elimination day in the next few episodes.
