American political series and soap opera The Oval is a Tyler Perry production, direction, and written piece that was put out for fans first in 2019. The show follows the story of the life story of the people at the White House, including the inner workings of the house and its people.
The series takes us behind the scenes into the double life that the President of the United States, Hunter Franklin, played by actor Ed Quinn, and the First Lady of the United States, Victoria Franklin, played by actress Kron Moore, seem to be living.
While the interracial couple pretends to be picture perfect and so in love in front of the people, they are no different than actual-life leaders when the doors are closed and the cameras are turned off. As you would expect, they are power-hungry and care for nothing but money.
They have also managed to pass this greed onto their future generations, their children, Gayle and Jason, utterly despicable and volatile. Paige Hunter plays their daughter, Gayle, while Daniel Croix Henderson plays the role of Jason in the series.
Apart from our leading cast members, the show, The Oval, also has Javon Johnson, Ptosha Storey, Teesha Renee, Ciera Payton, Taja V. Simpson, and many others who had to the dramatic plot.
The Oval Season 5 Episode 1: Preview
The series, The Oval, is about to air its fifth season despite its bad reviews and overall terrible quality. Fans who have managed to push through the seasons must already know that the show runs on high levels of drama and the most outrageous scandals.
With season five turning up soon, we know that Hunter will continue to find himself in bigger troubles; with an investigation, Victoria will have to find twisted ways to get him out of the said troubles.
Priscilla, the White House residence staff supervisor’s hate towards Sam, the secret service agent, will continue to go through the roof in this season as well, with Bobby taking the heat of it all.
The plot of the series continues to get as deranged as possible, with the script and stereotypes reaching new levels of pathetic. The series is bad, and that just might be the thing that gets people to watch it. With mediocre acting and crumbs for a plot, you can watch the series without much thought.
It is utterly hilarious to watch when you take it as nothing more than a bad joke. Though season five is not out yet, fans cannot wait to see just where Tyler Perry plans on taking the show further.
