What happens when you mix all the outcasts, villains, and rejects from both seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette to see if they can try again for love? You have Bachelor In Paradise, a show created by the same creators from those popular franchises that allows them another opportunity to shine.
We have a lot of characters this season who either had the most embarrassing send-offs, had disastrous engagements, or are just plain obnoxious.
The ninth season of Bachelor in Paradise debuted on September 28th on ABC, and it will air immediately following the Golden Bachelor. On Thursdays, Golden Bachelor will only air for a single hour before Bachelor in Paradise.
Rejected contestants from various Bachelor series travel to Playa Escondida in Sayulita, Mexico, where men and women spend a few weeks exchanging roses with the singles they want to get to know better.
Up until someone decides they need to find someone new or stay in their current relationship, new participants are continuously brought into the mix while other participants are sent home.

Bachelor in Paradise Season 9 Episode 2 Recap
The men are in control of the rose in week two of ABC’s Bachelor in Paradise. The love triangle between Olivia, Will, and Kylie is the main attraction for viewers tonight. Throughout the show, the tensions between the three of them increase.
Will is already prepared and eager to give Kylie his entire life. Olivia foresaw this outcome and finds immense satisfaction in seeing Will treated as a stand-in after being rejected during their make-out in Episode 1. But that doesn’t satisfy her desire for vengeance, so she decides to kidnap Aven from under Kylie.
As luck would have it, Aven does show up with a date card. After talking to Kylie and Olivia separately, he chooses to ask the former out. Will claims that at that precise moment, his soul left his body.
When Kylie approaches him later to discuss what has happened, she behaves as if she hasn’t made up her mind about the two men in her life, even though it is clear to the spectator that she has. After that, Kylie departs for her second one-on-one in as many weeks, going on a date with Aven on a boat that ends in a passionate kiss.
