Max’s Doom Patrol is going to come to an end, but it’s not leaving without an entertaining ending. Ever since it premiered in February 2019, Doom Patrol has come out with exciting new storylines for each of its seasons.
It was earlier announced that season 4 is going to be the final season for Doom Patrol, so there’s no way we won’t be seeing the battle between Doom Patrol and Immortus playing out. What’s more exciting is the mystery behind Immortus and the way he’ll be mixed into the series.
Jeremy Carver’s superhero series Doom Patrol is based on the DC Comics team of the same name and revolves around these unique heroes trying to save the world while learning more about themselves with each episode.
The second half of Doom Patrol’s cast will be Diane Guerrero in the role of Crazy Jane (Kay), April Bowlby playing Elasti-Woman (Rita), Matt Bomer in the role of Negative Man (Larry), and Brendan Fraser in the role of Robotman (Cliff).
Doom Patrol Season 4 Episode 6: Recap
Episode 6 of Doom Patrol’s final season featured Jane waiting up to see herself back to her adult version, but something was off. The age spell might’ve been reversed, but Jane was now an older-looking woman. Cliff tells her to calm down and use this remaining time to do something for herself.
She goes to Kay and later tries to confess her feelings to Shelley, but is torn between what’s more important to her, the duty or her own life. Meanwhile, Larry is held captive by the scissormen, who take him to where Immortus is. These scissor men are just mindless entities residing in Orqwith.
Before Larry is taken to Immortus, Rama intervenes and takes him back to his world. Cliff sees both of them coming back, but before they can talk much about anything, Keeg pushes Larry back into the portal.
Rita and Laura return to normal, too, and decide to infiltrate the Ant farm. They were hoping to find a report on the Immortus project but are disappointed to see that it has already been taken by an inmate called Wally. Rita accidentally kills Wally after she transforms into a blob.
Vic and Derek still have some tension between them. They decide to make up and step into Orqwith after finding out that Larry went through the portal. Cliff tries to motivate Jane to go back to her heroic self. They later face Kipling, who is now injured and weak.
He lets them know that Bunbury has died, and Jane’s longevity was taken by them to protect it from falling into Immortus’ hands. The reason behind Keeg pushing Larry into Orqwith is revealed. Keeg had seen a vision where he ended up killing Larry to protect the world.
Since Immortus had promised to fulfill everyone’s wishes, Keeg hoped he could change fate by letting Larry’s longevity be taken.
Cliff, Jane, Vic, and Derek unite in Orqwith but are soon confronted by Wally. The first half of Doom Patrol ends with Cliff suddenly remembering that he forgot to close the freezer properly, causing the Were-butts to come out.
