The anime series plot will focus on the dark lord being awakened by mistake after a thousand years in the body of a young girl. Thousands of years before the incident of Leonis, the dark lord, waking up, he was in power and control of humans.
The world was at war a thousand years back, and humanity was led to the brink of extinction by six dark lords, but humanity found hope in six heroes who saved humanity from being extinct with their power. The six heroes used their powers to fight the dark lord, and one by one, each of the six dark lords fell until the only one to remain was Leonis.
Before casting the spell, the dark lord declared that he would concede victory this once, but he would rise again after a thousand years to conquer humans and humanity as he was born for it, and the Goddess Of Rebellion gave him this mission.
Now, after thousands of years, in the present world, Riselia Ray, a young girl, accidentally stumbles upon Leonis’s mausoleum’s ancient ruins and awakens the dark lord by undoing the seal accidentally. Unfortunately for the dark lord, he wakes up in the body of a human child, and Riselia takes him under her wings after mistaking him to be a refugee of the Voids.
This begins Leonis’s mission of figuring out what exactly went wrong during the time of his deep slumber. Once, the powerful lord is trapped in the body of a young boy and meets Riselia, the girl responsible for awakening him from his magical stasis. Riselia is someone who fights against Voids, dangerous creatures who have taken over and have nearly ended humanity.
Leonis enrolls in Excalibur Academy, a school responsible for training students to fight against the monsters called Voids. Leonis, being used to being a warrior, finds it hard to adjust in a classroom, but soon, he realizes that the conflicts occurring in the school are just as hard as the battles he had to face in the past.

On his new journey, Leonis meets several other students who possess their unique talents.
