When the last released chapter opens up, we see that Franz clashed with the Duke. As in the previous chapter, we learn Franz knows about the Bird Spy. He went to meet the Duke on his own. When the Duke says that he can not remember selling any pigeons recently.

At the same time, he thinks that Franz is not an ordinary fighter and he is something else. He says that Kalian’s body is not equipped to face an opponent of this level.

On the other hand, Franz says that he has yet to sell birds because he already knows that he has just arrived in this kingdom.

Later in the chapter, we find out that in this kingdom, birds mean spies, and they feed on the information. Secritian Spies keep their identities hidden, even from their own, to prevent the mission from being Jeopardized if one of them is caught.

When the Duke asks him whose bird he is, he, while talking to himself, says that there is no way they will find out his true identity, even if they use his father’s name. At the same time, he reveals to him that he is one of the Nebullades.

He also wonders if this will settle everything because this makes Kalian the first Cyresian Prince in history to spy on his own kingdom.

With this, he says that some feed would be nice, and the bird he brought is fresh from the nest.

Later in the chapter, the Duke asks him to follow; with this, he finds out that there is a hidden tunnel in there. Furthermore, the Duke says that since he is new there, they will often run into him, and he can call him White Hawk. Even Franz uses a fake and says that he is Red Swan.

When he pays him, the Duke hands him over an item and a piece of information. While looking at them, he asks him if he is sure that this is the correct location; the Duke says that that is the only place that fits his request.
