Much like ‘this is not a love story’ titles that turn out to be all about love stories, this story has become all about MC being special. It was nice to see the Shoujo genre try something other than romance for once. And this manhwa picked up the supernatural and mystery genre with that but with a romance story approach.
A female lead with many beautiful male leads to pick from and some dangerous guy whom she is interested in? Check. But instead of love, we have the MC being the queen/monarch that will save the world from damnation. So, it could be said that this is a love story without any open male leads or apparent female leads.

Sorry, But I Am Just a Normie Chapter 32 had the MC go into an alley where one of the troublemakers was waiting. The troublemaker in a romance story would have been one of the male lead’s rivals with danger in his demeanor. However, he is just a dangerous guy with good intentions who is misunderstood, just in a different genre.
And there are times in the manhwa (not just this chapter) that the female lead (MC, a slip of the tongue) felt a little off. She has this lack of charisma that she makes up for with Chunibyou lines while talking to other serious characters. However, they never feel serious or sometimes appear to be too serious for the sake of seriousness.
And then there is also the issue of unnatural praise that comes from other characters towards the MC. This is an issue even in action shonen, so seeing it repeat even in this manhwa felt a little redundant. And the two that are working as her guards or looking after her also feel like they are out of a Yumejoshi novel…

Sorry, But I Am Just a Normie Chapter 33 will be the starting steps for the story as armageddon is near. Or Ragnarok, or judgment, or the end of the world… there are too many manhwas talking about the end of the world.
And given how the few survivors kind of prove the point of the Nier Drakengard franchise, most people are there to die, and the main characters are indirectly responsible for their killings.
But conscience is one thing that isn’t popular in the shonen manhwa, and out of all things, this manhwa is that quality of the subgenre. In a few chapters, we will have many people dying, or maybe the story could surprise us by just giving us collateral damage. And save all the people who would then succumb to hunger and lack of resources, and poof, they are dead.
