The First Responders Season 2 Episode 12 is set to be released soon. The story revolves around firefighter, a paramedic, and a police officer making joint efforts to save lives and investigate crimes. This season is going to be different as it crosses the professional limits and portrays personal struggles and emotions.
The drama has a total of 12 episodes which means this one is going to mark the end of the crime thriller’s season. With a new twist of another death that dropped like a bomb on the viewers in the previous episode, the mystery and revelations have surpassed all limits. The First Responders Season 2 Episode Recap
The episode begins with the autopsy scenes of Mr. Ma. Outside the room, Ho Gae and Cheol Joong are waiting for the result. Se Jin finds white solid remains like crystals from the organ of Mr Ma and he decides to taste it to know what it is. Meanwhile, Ho Gae and Cheol Joong suspect it to be something poisonous
As he puts the crystal in his mouth, everyone panics, but it is just salt. He rinses his mouth and comes out to state the autopsy report. He does not consider it a homicide. Despite the body’s organs being decayed, he could still examine some, which suggests that Mr Ma could have died due to his habit of smoking.
Ho Gae confirms from Cheol Joong if he is sure that it was a homicide, and he agrees. Ho Gae leaves for an investigation against Dex, so he visits Joong Do’s house. He tries to trace the events that happened on the day of his death, and he tastes the salt in the salt shaker.
Surprisingly, the taste is a bit different, so he sends a sample for forensic testing. The astonishing finding suggests that this salt contained potassium. The salt was fed to him on purpose so that he would die. After making sure that this was a murder, he has more research to do.
On the other hand, Doha and Woo Samsoon try to find the bomb manufacturer by tracing the IP address and leaving for the destination. Youngsoo also contributes by forming a search team to look for Tae Hwa. The CCTV footage provides a breakthrough as the number plate of the car the culprit has is visible in it.
When Ho Gae departs after confirming things from Se Jin, he finds Seol taking the stairs. He thinks that the elevator is out of service, but it is just her fear after that attack that makes her skip elevators. Ho Gae holds her hand to overcome this fear and then leaves to investigate again with Pil.
Ho Gae finds Tae Hwa at the suspected location inside an ambulance while Pil follows through the woods to find who is screaming. Ho Gae tries to extract information about Dex from Tae Hwa and even tortures him. He is shocked to see Youngsoo profusely bleeding and stabbed, who tells him that Sunyeol is responsible for his condition.
While he takes his last breath, he asks Ho Gae to find the culprit. His death shocks Ho Gae, who chokes Tae Hwa out of anger when Se Jin arrives there out of nowhere. Connecting the dots, he finds out that Se Jin is Dex. Before he can shoot him, Se Jin turns the lights off, and the sound of a gunshot is heard.
Pil runs towards the ambulance when a blast occurs. Firefighters arrive for rescue to find Pil badly injured while they retrieve a burnt body from the ambulance.
The First Responders Season 2 Episode Preview
In the next episode, Jin Ho Gae’s officer ID and phone will be handed over by Samsoon to Mr Baek. Seol will think about Ho Gae’s words as how he cannot stand crime. He also tells her to come to him no matter how badly he is hurt, so she starts running in the hope of finding him alive.
On the other hand, Pil and Seol will also have an emotional breakdown thinking about Ho Gae, while Dex will lose his cool. In the end, Hong will start the autopsy with a heavy heart, anticipating that it is Ho Gae.
