Flowers of Worship Chapter 39 will see the story move to the big war that has been promised in the last few chapters. The build-up of the story at this point is about the inner conflict in the country. And we have the story of a female MC that falls into the devil may care stereotype, the rare one in this genre.
Now, this story isn’t just reaching the first climax, and it is going toward the climax. A lot of manhwas are long and have some big saga going on where a lot of events take place. This isn’t that, and this is a crisp and focused experience that doesn’t drag out for too long and ends the story when it needs to.

Flowers of Worship Chapter 38 saw the guard’s resolve drop as they learned that their general was on the verge of betraying them. There has been a big conspiracy going on behind the scenes, and one man of royalty now wants to be the kingdom. Guess not having a king to manipulate makes people ambitious for one reason or another to take the throne.
Almost all the personnel involved are shaken by the man that they will be facing in the future. Except for our female lead, she has only one thing, and that is to save the integrity and greed freedom of her nation. However, there is a small catch, but she doesn’t show it to anyone else.
The female lead tells her colleagues the course of action that they need to take before riding off on a horse. Now, this would be considered treason or abandonment of duty, but she is the one that enforces the rules. And since there is no one above her, there isn’t anything that could be done against her, so she got off scoot free.

Flowers of Worship Chapter 39 Spoilers
Flowers of Worship Chapter 39 will be fast-paced from this point forward as the character motivation will feel out of line at times. We saw that at the end of the chapter as well, where the female lead suddenly realizes that she now loves the male lead. It was mathematical, though; not many thought processes went into it, and that much is clear in that regard.
The male lead is the crown prince, and the female lead is a Yumejoshi self-insert. And there weren’t any other contenders for who the shipping might have happened either. But that aside, the war or the civil war should wrap up in a few chapters, and then we should have characters making their way to the end. There are only 50 chapters total in this series, so the last few chapters will end happily ever after.
