Young Blood Season 2 Episodes 20 Recap
Xiao Jing and Yuan are sitting beside a weak and recovering Zhao. She finally gains consciousness, and her fever has gone down, which is good news for Jing and Yuan. Zhao suddenly remembers that before “dying,” she confessed to Yuan that she wanted to be a carefree person, but now she has feelings for him.
When she asks Yuan about what she said, he blushes. Jing is ready to leave for a walk when Yuan asks her where she got the antidote. She tells him that Ya Nei got it from his father. He asks where Wang Kuan is. In the next scene, Wang Kuan is held hostage by Ya Nei’s father.
Ya Nei is upset about it and wants his father to let Wang Kuan go. Yuan decides to rescue Wang Kuan and take his place instead. He arrives at the palace, where Wang is surrounded by imperial guards.
Ya Nei and Commander Wei come to meet him. Ya Nei asks Yuan to use him to escape, and it turns out a funny encounter when his father, Commander Wei says he can have another son just as good as Ya Nei so he can lend a weapon to Yuan. Commander asks Yuan about the death of Chen Gong.
Yuan clears out that he has not killed him. Commander decides to let Yuan and Kuan go if they break ties with Ya Nei, and they agree. When Zhao asks them about the plan, Yuan says he will go to get Ya Nei as he is a part of the 7th chamber, while Kuan and Jing will meet Xue Ying.
Yuan and Zhao go to get Ya Nei and investigate Chen Gong. Jing gets information about the bar owned by Ms. Yun, who is a widow and a suspected spy of Xia. Ya Nei bribes his guards to let Yuan and Zhao enter the palace as guards because they suspect a high-rank official has killed Chen Gong.
On the other hand, Jing and Kuan continue to monitor Ya Min Hut. Both teams conclude that the main suspect is Commander Wei himself. His suspicious funds and easy access to the blueprint are enough to assure them of his involvement.
Wang Kuan tries to win over the spy Yun in the name of bringing glory to his clan by allying with them, and he agrees. Ya Nei finds out that his teammates suspect his father of murder, and he is determined to prove his innocence. Zhao and Yuan have to find the answers before it is too late.
