Not much time later, the team outside of the gate finds out that it is a trap, and some curse has attacked them. Not only that, we also find out that only priests are capable of breaking the curse, and injured Priest Sahita.
When Kang shows up out of the gate, he says that he already knew something like this was going to happen, and that is why he was fully prepared. One of them says that this is a seal magic circle, with the seal in a released state.
