In the previous chapter of Revenge of the Iron-Blooded Sword Hound, Aiyen continues to teach Vikir how to use a bow and arrow, and she teases Vikir when he misses the mark, saying that her slave has no talent for the bow and arrow.

Vikir asks if the way she is standing so close to him is appropriate, and Aiyen continues to tease him, saying that she must correct his posture and look closely if she wants to teach him properly. The mating had completely exhausted the female, and she traveled far away to cold mountains while Aiyen and Vikir followed after her on Balkir. Suddenly, the traces disappear, and the Ox-bear appears from the shadows to attack them.
