Olgami Chapter 177 will see how Rose and her father from their circumstances as they are being hunted by other vampires. The series is in a weird place right now as it had gone and recontextualized every character by giving them their backstories. And it has done it at a fast pace ever since the series resumed with the second season.
The story was about Chae, who got stuck into the dealings of a vampire that had killed someone she knew. She happened to get sight of Yoonsoo being in the act, and he had been onto her since then. Though, if he were an efficient vampire that prioritized killing overplaying, the story would have ended long ago; this is how vampire romance rolls.
Moreover, after getting his backstory, he is painted as this tragic figure that was hurt by the circumstances. Not going too much into it; the story turned into a ‘nobody’s truly a villain’ trope. It disillusioned the threat of vampires a lot and humanized them, which in turn made them look less threatening than they used to.

Olgami Chapter 176 was a backstory (there has been a lot of those in these past chapters), with how father got his powers. Father was part of a military that was on the way to kill the witch along with his comrades. However, his companions were tired from all the fighting that it took to get there, so he went in by himself.
When the father guy didn’t return for hours, his company deduced that he was dead. They decided to abandon the mission and move out of the forest, only to be lost in the trees that were ungiving in directions.
But that was when the miracle happened, and the father returned but with newfound strength, a strength they all inherited.
At present, we saw them launching an attack on their former leader, who seemed to have a weakness. Father has shown to be this immortal one that can’t be killed no matter what he takes.
Yoonsoo has tried and failed, but he wasn’t the only one trying to find his father’s weakness, and this group might have discovered it.

Olgami Chapter 177 will see what will happen now that there is a disruption going on between the vampires. Father is worried that they have nowhere to run and that there will be no help coming for them; whatever’s coming will not be helped. Rose wasn’t shown to react to it in the last chapters, but we will get to see what she will do about it and deal with it.
There is one of their reliable subordinates of theirs that should be coming their way, the one that was shown in the last few panels before the chapter ended.
However, it is possible that the father is right and is in cahoots with the enemy and will have the intent to kill him. Or, the guy could be wrong about it and misread the situation as he shows himself to them.
