In the previous chapter, Edith Rigelholf is busy with her life as the Duke’s secretary, and with Edith’s previous life’s experience as a modern-day full-time office worker, dealing with paperwork is too easy for her. Linon, the Duke’s aide, is surprised to see how fast Edith is able to finish her work.
Later on, after Edith went on on break, she is invited by the head butler to participate in an event held in the capital which is also one of the key story arcs of the novel, and that is “Countess’s Bazaar.” The Countess’s Bazaar is an event held by the noble families to raise funds for different causes for the kingdom, and mainly the stars of the show are the wives of noble families.
