The story follows a Skeleton Soldier who used to serve a very powerful succubus. However, he lost his master when their dungeon got raided and he was unable to protect her from the invaders.
Grief-stricken, the Skeleton wishes that he had a little more strength. Little did he know, he was going to get his wish and so much more.
The Skeleton suddenly wakes up in his grave in from of novice necromancer Rae Rubia. He recognized her as the person who created him in the first place. Meaning he has regressed in time almost 2 decades.
He only has one goal now. Become strong enough to protect his future master. He noticed something else that was odd.
Even though the window said that he was a Lvl 1, his stats matched that of Lvl 36, the level he was before his regression. Furthermore, he unlocked an additional skill called Memorial. The same situation Subaru from Re: Zero found himself in.
Every time he dies, he regresses in time to that exact place. His first Quest was to protect Rubia but that proved a little too much for him. No matter how much he tried, she kept dying over and over again. Skeleton recognized he needs a lot more power to save the ones he loves so he starts clearing Dungeons. That was where he met Rena.
He goes through the same with Rena till he is able to get her to a safe place where she can grow. At the moment, he is with Gilles de Rai, a half-human, half-skeleton necromancer.
Skeleton has reached unimaginable levels of power and regressed to his meeting with Gilles once more. He tells her all about his adventures, and they make a plan together.

After hearing what Skeleton had to say, Gilles and Skeleton went their separate ways. Gilles went to find Blue Fox and Rena while Skeleton went deeper into the Dungeon.
He found himself at the Altar of Baal. He starts getting attacked by several monsters. However, none are a match for Skeleton. After defeating all the enemies, he got promoted.
He became a Lvl 2 Death Knight, and the transformation looked amazing. He thinks to himself how it’s a power he absorbed from the Royal Palace.
Along with a nice armor and sword set, he received a ton of stat upgrades and the ability to redistribute them. In addition to all that, he unlocked several unrivaled perks as well. Then he heard a voice.
It was the Altar of Baal. It began to talk. The altar wants to recruit Skeleton to the Legion of Baal. He extracts the locations of other Shrines like this one and then proceeds to destroy the altar
. Furthermore, he used the Lamp of Power to absorb its magic. He exits the dungeon and saw that he fulfilled the conditions to buy world negation.
This would allow him to gain as many points from killing humans as he would get from killing monsters. This is especially good for Skeleton as he kills humans than monsters. He then makes his way back to the rendezvous.
There he sees Rena for the first time after a long time. Rena has grown soo much in a short while. They go and meet Gilles, who is with Blue Fox.

He would be able to ensure the safety of those he loves in this current cycle. Skeleton might go and destroy the other Altars of Ball so he can abord them into the Lamp of Power and upgrade it to the Lamp of Souls.
