Ten couples with their own stories competed in the reality television show 290 Million KRW: Marriage War for a chance to win the handsome prize money worth 290,000 dollars to be married. They need to complete the given missions, survive in the game, and prove their strength of love and trust.
All ten competing couples were not married when they entered, and their goal in the game was to win so they could wed. Which couple will make it to the end?
Let’s Catch Up With Episode 3 of 290 Million KRW: Marriage War
Episode 2nd started with the first death match, where couples who lost the first mission would get a chance to survive. They would get tested by Love Lie Detector and had to answer all the questions in yes or No. All seven surviving couples chose questions beforehand. And at the end, they needed to vote for one couple out of three who would have a new chance again.
The first couple was Kim Ji Hyuk and Kim Ji Eon, the second was Hong Han Seok and Mariam, and the last was Hong Jun Young and Park Na Young. They were asked some harsh and challenging questions. And as a result, Hong Han Seok and Mariam were the only pair to make it out alive. Other couples voted for them because they believed they were less competitively powerful than the other couples in their perspective.
Ji Hyuk & Ji Eon and Jun Young & Na Young were eliminated. And including others, Han Seok and Mariam became the eighth couple to survive. They were having a meal when they asked to gather at the central square.
The new mission given to them was War-Like Love. According to that, eight couples were divided into two groups. And four couples needed to compete with each other in each group. Lee Sang Min and Oh Su Hyeon won first place in the first mission with a benefit. So, they were the ones who created the group leagues and orders of the two groups.
They put themselves in Group B with Kim Tae Suk & Bae Ji Yoon, Hong Han Seok & Mariam, and Kim Jin Won & Lee Seung Yeon. Group A consisted of all the physically strong couples, including Sung Chi Hyun & Kim Hae Ri, Choi Kwang Won & Shin Hye Sun, Bae Min Ki & Park A Ryeon, and Yoon Hyeon Cheol & Kim Seul Gi.
Eight couples arrived at an under-construction building with curiosity about the mission the next day at the camp. This task had two rounds, 1st round played by men and the second by women. And if the man won the 1st round, that couple could skip round 2.
When Group A began the first round, Kwang Won was in the lead before being blocked by others. The four of them struggled for about 15 to 20 minutes before having to stop the game for their safety and restart it with some modified regulations.
