When I Fly Towards You Episode 18: Recap

Episode 18 of When I Fly Towards You, titled We’re All Grown Up Now, opens up with a teacher helping the students from the high school for listing the universities they want to attend. One by one, he takes student and ask them about their choice and suggest areas of improvement. When Su Zai Zai’s turn came, the teacher gets surprised to see that she listed East China University, the same university that Zhang Lu Rang wanted to attend.

The teacher tells her to improve her maths if she wants to attend East China University, and as her scores in English are good, he asks her to look for good autonomous colleges. Considering the teacher’s advice Su Zai Zai appears for an autonomous college interview, where she meets a girl from Rang’s high school who tells her that Rang is very intelligent and handsome but does not entertain anyone who wants to be close to him.

Su Zai Zai later arrives at Zhang Lu Rang’s high school, clicks some pictures near Rang’s picture attached to the board, and accidentally meets him. Rang takes her to wander around the high school, where Zai Zai lets him know the reason why she appeared for the interview other than East China University. Su Zai Zai thinks that growing up in a career is the coolest thing, so even if she cannot get into the same university as Rang, she will continue to make her career.

After passing the interview at an autonomous university, Su Zai Zai keeps improving her grades to get into East China University. While studying for the final exams, Rang and Zai Zai write letters to each other. The final exam has ended, and all the students arrive at the graduation ceremony and enjoy their final moments with each other. Su Zai Zai misses Zhang Lu Rang in the ceremony, but he arrives at the school to surprise all his friends.

Later after the ceremony, Guan Fang’s grandmother gets admitted to the hospital. All their friends rush towards the hospital, where doctors let them know that she needs immediate surgery. The friends support Guan Fang through his sorrow and soon get the good news that the surgery is successful. At the end of episode 18 of I Fly Towards You, Zhang Lu Rang asks Su Zai Zai out on a date.
